Like many modern-day relationships, Allison and Cameron’s journey started as two young adults eager to find love through online dating apps. While Cam will claim it was farmersonly.com, the two first crossed paths on a lovely app by the name of Tinder in the winter of 2021. Cam was new to the area and had just started his Air Force career at Wright Patterson AFB. Alli, a Dayton native, saw an opportunity to show a newcomer all the area had to offer. In true fashion, Alli was late to their first date (shocker), armed with wet hair and her make up bag in hand to get the day started. If this didn't prepare Cameron for what the future would hold then what would? They proceeded to spend the entire day together - beginning with breakfast and window shopping in Yellow Springs. The next stop was Youngs Jersey Dairy to pet farm animals and answer the age-old debate of Graeter’s vs Young’s ice cream (side note, Cam had already decided on Graeter’s) but, the day was far from over. After Yellow Springs was the Boonshoft Museum near downtown, exploring exhibits and taking a silly picture or two. The night ended with a fan favorite Chick Fil a, and several hours of honest conversation. If you ask Cameron, it was a fantastic first date and the beginning to a long and happy life together. Alli on the other hand was adamant, that their time together was not a date…but rather a fun “hangout” with a lot of potential. Their second hangout was a game night at Cam's house, something that has happily become a staple of their relationship. This night proved to be the pivotal moment, as Alli saw another side of Cam (the sarcastic one in case you are wondering). Turns out that was all she needed, Alli knew Cam was the one. From then on, the two were inseparable. Cam was driving to Cincinnati to visit Alli and Alli was driving up to Dayton just to see Cam! Their relationship has been filled with contagious laughter and the fun adventures of navigating life together. It’s clear as day (just not an Ohio day aka grey) that these two were meant for each other. As their love story continues to unfold like a well-played game, each move calculated with care and every win celebrated as a shared triumph we are excited to see what the future holds for them…
